Calderdale Community Asset Support Fund 2026-2027

This is the application form for the Calderdale Community Assets Support Fund. The fund has been provided by Calderdale Council and is being managed and administered by the Calderdale VSI Alliance.

The grant fund has been created to support VCSE organisations in Calderdale to manage community assets (community buildings). It is open to VCSE organisations in Calderdale who currently manage a community asset owned by Calderdale Council, or are currently going through the community management of assets (CMA) process.

Grants of up to £3,000 per organisation are available for costs required to support the operation and management of assets.

Decisions on grant awards will be made monthly. The grants team may also contact you to gather more information where necessary; this may impact on decision timescales.

Data Notice: This form is hosted by Locality on behalf of the Calderdale VSI Alliance (Calderdale Council, Locality, Voluntary & Community Calderdale (CVAC), and WYCAS). Your data is collected solely for the Calderdale Community Asset Support Fund application and will be shared with Calderdale Council and CVAC for review. It will not be used for Locality's marketing or CRM purposes. Your data will be held until the end of the grant delivery period (31st March 2028).

You may want to give an assessment of the urgency / need and explain whether there are any risks to the organisation or a crisis that needs addressing. You may also want to let us know whether you could fund this work through your own cash reserves or other funds.

What impact will the support have on your organisation? You may want to explain: what positive difference the funded work will have on your organisation and the people you support; how it will support your organisation to develop and improve what you do; how it will assist your community ownership or Community Asset Transfer (CAT) process; and/or how it will help your organisation to run and manage the community asset.
