This survey is for VCSE organisations providing spaces, services and activities for children and young people (11 – 25 years old). It is mostly multiple choice and should take approximately 10 minutes to complete.

Locality, the national membership network for community organisations in England, is currently undertaking a project to explore the role of community spaces in young people’s mental health and community engagement.

This survey will enable us to build up a picture across England of community level provision of mental health support and the spaces in which that is happening. It will further help us to understand the importance of these spaces in providing support and the types of impact they are having.

The results of this survey will feed into our work as part of the government’s VCSE Health and Wellbeing Alliance, helping Locality to make nuanced policy recommendations about how government and the health system can best support community work around mental health. We reserve the right to make anonymised findings  available to colleagues at the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities, the Department for Health and Social Care and the Department for Culture, Media and Sport. You can find Locality’s Privacy Policy here.
