Community projects in West Lindsey
Identifying opportunities and barriers

Whether you’re looking to…

  • install new benches in your town centre,
  • add planters and hanging baskets around the village
  • add solar panels on roofs,
  • get more affordable housing built,
  • refurbish the village hall,
  • plant new hedgerows,
  • sow wildflowers on road verges,
…or deliver any other community project, no matter how big or small, you’re in the right place!

Led by Locality and supported by West Lindsey Council, this project aims to understand what aspirations or initiatives you have within your communities, whether you are seeking to deliver and implement projects and how (including through neighbourhood planning), what challenges and barriers you may face and how these could be overcome.

By filling out the questionnaire below (max 30 minutes), you can help us gather valuable information to inform and tailor future delivery of a series of free workshops and surgery sessions to help you move forward with your community projects. As well as filling in the questionnaire please register to join us for one of our free (in-person) launch events on 31st March or 1st April, to find out more about who we are and how we can help!

A bit about us: Locality is a national membership network supporting local community organisations to be strong and successful. We provide specialist advice, peer learning, and resources to help communities thrive including running assets for the benefit of local people. We have delivered the Neighbourhood Planning Support Programme since 2013 on behalf of the Ministry of Housing, Community and Local Government and have an excellent understanding of the neighbourhood planning process.
